Fun is very essential and everybody needs to have it. There is no denial of what it can do. It makes you happy, and when you're happy, you are capable of doing anything at your pleasure. In a nutshell, fun is very good for humans but it has a negative impact. This is seen from a different point of view.
HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOUTHS?
In this 21st century, there are various ways people catch their fun and the most common way is through social media.
Social media in my own view is an opportunity where people meet, discuss, exchange ideas and share opinions relating to any given situation. It is unfortunate to see how people have changed this wonderful opportunity by polluting the sight of social network users with pornographic pictures and videos and yet calling it F.U.N. No! I call it "INSANITY".
It is appalling that most youths are on social media just to see pornographic pictures, watch porn videos and have affiliations with those online fraudsters. Motivational and educational write-ups are long forgotten. Oh! the moment they see any headline that is educative they quickly put off their network data or click on any site that can give them what they refer to as F.U.N. What a waste!
In another view, Youths of these days have failed to realize the importance of their creator in all their endeavors. They prefer to go to clubs, visit the cinemas, drink with their friends, smoke and even start to fornicate just to forget their sorrows. They have failed to realize that they own their future and having a God fearing life is the key to success. Fun will be appreciated only when we are doing it right. Fun definitely makes work easier but it shouldn't be too much. I therefore call on all youths, let us rise and take a stand, let us call for change, let us work for change, let us use social media in the right way.
