ADAM'S WORLD: MISTAKES MEN MAKE WITH THEIR TIES

On my way to the bank this morning, i noticed a man wearing an attractive tie but unfortunately, it was an eye sore as he failed to wear the tie properly.  My experience this morning inspired me to write this post " TOP MISTAKES MEN MAKE WHEN WEARING A TIE". I had a brief conversation with some men on whether they pay keen attention when wearing their ties and here are some of the responses.

' Well, i always ensure to  wear my tie properly before leaving the house because i don't want people to think am untidy. It is necessary for every man to take things of such nature seriously.'
                                                                                                                ANONYMOUS

' To be honest, my wife makes sure  my ties are in order before i wear them and she ensures i wear them properly. When i was a bachelor, i never paid much attention as to the way i wear my ties but now am cautious and i have my wife to thank for that'.

Now lets get down to business.
Whether as a bachelor or married man, you must avoid these mistakes men make when wearing a tie.

1.  POORLY KNOTTED TIE
Such mistakes include; a tie that is knotted too short or too long. It could be a flimsy looking knot that does  not fill the gap between the collar. I could consider this the worse offense on the list.

2. SHORT KNOTTED TIE
A tie should be tied to end near the middle of your belt buckle. A tie that has been tied too short will throw the entire look. There is no form of excuse in this situation.

3. COLOURS AND PATTERNS
So many men choose the wrong tie color or pattern for their outfits.  It is advisable you choose a shade that compliments your shirt and suits.

4. STAINED OR WRINKLED NECK TIES
Any stain on your neck tie is easily noticeable. I suggest you always untie your neck tie after wearing it. Hang them on a tie rack or hanger. Always rotate your ties and never wear the same tie two days in a row.
5. TIE AND DRESS CODE
There are some dress code that will require you to wear a particular style of tie.  Therefore, not all ties fits in. You must be careful in this aspect.

Note that tie pins, tie chains and collar bars are no longer in vogue. Avoid these mistakes and do me favour, kindly point out these mistakes to offenders in your environment. If you want to avoid any confrontation, tell them to visit this blog and read this post

 Thanks for reading.
