FAILURE AS A FRIEND.
Oh! Did you say you failed your exam? You failed to get that job you so craved for?
Did I hear you say you failed to secure that admission?
Did you say your relationship ended painfully?
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I have been afraid of failure all my life and afraid of the greatest truth about failure, until I learnt the truth.
The truth is that failure is one of our greatest friends. Failure teaches more than success could ever teach you.
Don't
get me wrong, I mean success is cool and I love to succeed, we all do.
But success naturally builds the ego, pride and sometimes greed.
And success makes you feel you have arrived and perhaps, you are now better than those that didn't go through.
But failure is special! So special! Failure naturally builds humility, self examination and self realisation.
Failure
can bring you closer to God. Failure teaches us so much about
ourselves that we only need to be quiet enough to listen.
So don't get angry, frustrated or disheartened because you failed in an exam or an endeavour .
Your anger and frustration only blacken the lessons failure has to teach.
You see, failure equals new possibilities in life that you didn't expect.
Failure can get you to be more focused after an appraisal.
And in life you can't expect everything to go your way.
Failure can help you know your true friends.
You may never know who is your sincere friend until you experience failure.
All you can do is to put your heart into what you are doing and let go.
Sometimes
you win, sometimes you learn from losing. There are so many stories of
of successful people failing over and over again.
The
moral lesson is if you are afraid of failure and you learn from
failure, you can literally fail your way to success because a wise man
once said even a faulty clock is right twice in a day.
Failure is but a teacher...so brace up, cheer up and learn!
