A COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA

It is true that no man is an island of itself. For a life to be meaningful and worth living , people must co operate with one another irrespective of sex, race, social status or religion. 
 There is a country called NIGERIA that had high hopes, a country that you could stake your head on it's future and progressive development. This country is blessed with valuable cultural heritage , just as the people are blessed with both mineral and natural resources that should be for the country's development.

 Nigeria has had different leaders ranging from military to democratic but some corrupt leaders have brought about our economic downfall. O Nigeria, have you failed to live faithfully to the visions , values and aspirations of your founding fathers?  The insurgency has brought great pain to Nigerians. The killing of innocent souls has brought great curse upon the land. 

 However, even in the midst of weary, we must stand strong to fight against corruption and insurgency. Let us be our brother's keeper and stand firm. Fellow Nigerians I HAVE A DREAM.
   

I have a dream that all Nigerians, wealthy or poor, man or woman, high or low, educated or illiterate, famous or not, Muslims ,Christians or pagans, able or disable, royal or not will one day work together
to achieve great things, pray together, eat together believing in each other and knowing fully well we are created by God. A country where love, peace, unity, faith and progress will be our watch word. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

 I would say Nigeria is a blessed country with hope, faith and most of all Love. Although, we have been through a lot in these past few years but our experiences be it good or bad has made this country great.  God has always been faithful to our country. I love being part of this great country.
